Clara came to us from another rescue so that she could get some one on one long ear training. Before that she came from a slaughter house down south. She's now living her best life in Maine after being rehabbed with us. She has lots of equine friends and is very loved by her adopters.

Thistle and Mary

From left to right Thistle and Mary were owner surrenders, and came to SYA due to their owner growing long in the tooth. She wanted to ensure they had a loving permanent home while she was still able to find them one. With our very humid weather Thistle acquired pneumonia while she was with us. Thanks to her many supporters and lots of TLC Thistle pulled through this deadly sickness. Once she was healthy as a.. donkey, she was adopted her her loving forever family in MA. Their adopters have many grand kids who enjoy spending time with them and spoiling them.
